GPS Installation Technician

TrackGPS is the largest in-house developed product by AROBS Transilvania Software and one of the most performant fleet monitoring and management solutions in Romania.

Present on the market since 2006, the TrackGPS solution is used by over 9,700 clients, managing more than 130,000 vehicles nationally.

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, is good with automotive electrical installations, and prefers a dynamic activity.

The role involves 100% field activity at our clients' headquarters and work sites.

You will be responsible for:

• installing, checking, and maintaining GPS equipment on various types of vehicles;
• mounting fuel consumption monitoring solutions;
• installing accessories, sensors, probes, and other telematics hardware equipment;
• identifying and resolving any technical issues that arise during the installation process;
• testing equipment and verifying its correct operation;
• direct communication with representatives of companies that own vehicle fleets;
• collaborating with sales, delivery, and technical support teams to successfully complete installations.

• secondary or higher education; studies in a technical field are an advantage;
• category B driving license – mandatory;
• knowledge of automotive electrical systems and electronics;
• experience in installing car alarms, audio systems, cameras, or other automotive electrical equipment is an advantage;
• knowledge of CAN/FMS automotive protocols is a plus;
• ability to use PC and mobile applications;
• experience with automotive diagnostic applications is an advantage;
• attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work independently;
• good communication and customer relations skills;
• availability for frequent travel outside the city;
