Bergerat Monnoyeur, the Caterpillar dealer in Romania, is hiring an Electromechanical Technician for field and workshop interventions. The positions are within the Caterpillar machinery division. We are recruiting for these positions in the Timișoara area. Residence can be in Timișoara or in nearby localities. Requirements:
Technical secondary education in a relevant field (electromechanics, industrial mechanics);
Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity/electronics, and hydraulics – for the machinery division;
Minimum 2 years of experience in the electromechanical field, for both workshop activities and field interventions;
PC operation skills (Word, Excel, and specific programs);
Basic knowledge of English – technical domain;
Punctuality, adaptability, and initiative;
Customer-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and rigor;
Good organizational skills;
Category B driver's license (for field positions);
Availability for travel in the assigned area (for field positions);
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Job Description – Field Technician:
Performs repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities on machinery at the client's premises;
Diagnoses the technical condition and performs anomaly analysis;
Identifies spare parts needed for interventions;
Performs commissioning and expert appraisals;
Prepares electronic intervention reports;
Uses technical documentation and diagnostic tools;
Maintains good customer relationships.

Job Description – Workshop Technician:
Performs repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities on the full range of machinery and equipment in the workshop (mechanically, hydraulically, and electrically);
Uses the usual technical documentation provided: specialized materials, manuals, electronic documentation, online courses.
Occasionally operates lifting and transport machinery and moves engines and components.
Prepares the list of spare parts needed for the assigned repair.
Prepares necessary documentation and reporting. Informs the hierarchical superior about the progress of interventions and difficulties encountered in carrying out the work.
