Tehnician Electromecanic Caterpillar

Bergerat Monnoyeur, dealer of Caterpillar in Romania, is hiring a Tehnician Electromecanic for on-site interventions. The positions are within the division of Caterpillar equipment or within the division of engines and generators.

The recruitment area may be in cities mentioned or nearby, with the intervention vehicle also being used for travel:

Piatra Neamt, Craiova, Iasi, Brasov, Miercurea Ciuc/ Gheorgheni.

Profile of the candidate:

Middle-level technical studies in electromechanical engineering or industrial mechanics;

Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity/electronics, automation - for generators, hydraulic - for equipment division;

Knowledge and experience in electro-mechanical field of at least 2 years (workshop or on-site);

Knowledge of operating PC (Word, Excel, and specific programs);

Minimum knowledge of English language - technical domain;

Punctuality, adaptability, high level of initiative;

Oriented attitude towards client, professional correctness, rigor;

Good organizational capacity;

Driving license category B;

Availability for travel in the allocated area (travel time maximum 2-3 hours to and from);

Work schedule Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 with a 1-hour lunch break.

Description of the job:

Performs on-site activities such as repair, inspection, and maintenance of Caterpillar equipment or Perkins engines and groups of electric generators (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic - for equipment);

Makes diagnostic assessments and realizes anomaly analyses;

Identifies replacement parts necessary for interventions;

Performs put-into-service and expertise;

Publishes intervention reports after each work mission (in electronic format);

Studies technical literature, permanently improving professional abilities, has access to technical documentation in electronic format and diagnostic interface;

Participates annually in inventory of parts and tools from the equipment;

Maintains a good relationship with the client.
