Production Equipment Technician

Requirements:

• Middle school studies
• Technical drawing knowledge
• Communication, collaboration, organization skills
• Knowledge about tools and materials necessary for construction of platforms and workstations
• Ordered, disciplined, attention to detail, and client-oriented
• Work experience necessary, constitutes an advantage if worked in the automotive, sheet metal, or furniture industry

Duties and responsibilities:

• Optimization of workspaces and processes
• Maintenance of the 6S system in the area of responsibility
• Construction and assembly of workstations
• Assembly of workbenches
• Reading technical drawings
• Identifying necessary supports for construction of workstations and transmitting the need to the direct superior
• Verifying the stock of spare parts and ensuring the minimum stock by transmitting the need to the direct superior
• Machining, finishing, grinding, and cutting components from wood, aluminum, steel, Inox, etc
• Taking care of tools in the area of responsibility, requesting new tools or replacing damaged ones from the direct superior
