Structured Cabling Technician (Low Voltage)

About Us

Majaro International SRL is a technical integrator from Oradea, authorized by IGSU for fire detection and alarm systems and by IPJ for security systems, with a portfolio covering structured cabling, video surveillance, access control, anti-burglary systems, automation, smart home systems, photovoltaic installations, and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. We work for industrial clients, commercial clients, public institutions, and projects with European funding, in Bihor and neighboring counties.

We work in field teams of two or three technicians, with each job led by a project engineer and supported by our own technical office (quoting, estimates, work tracking). The jobs are varied, the pace is sustained, and everyone's results are visible and rewarded. We are expanding our execution team and are looking for a technician for whom the quality of work is a rule, not an exception.

Your Role

You will perform structured cabling and low-voltage work on our construction sites, as part of a team, within projects led by the project engineer. You are responsible for the correct, clean, and timely execution of cable routes, terminations, and testing, as well as for the equipment and materials entrusted to you.

Main Responsibilities

• Tracing, installing, and fixing cabling infrastructure: conduits, pipes, cable trays, cable ladders, passages, and penetrations;

• Laying data cables (UTP/FTP Cat.5e/6/6A), fiber optic cables, alarm cables, CCTV, access control, and fire detection cables, respecting bending radii, separation from power cables, and current regulations;

• Terminating and labeling cables: patch panels, RJ45 sockets, keystones, modules, communication cabinets (racks) — orderly and identifiable organization;

• Testing and certifying connections (cable tester / certifier), rectifying non-conformities, and preparing the measurement list;

• Installing end equipment: video cameras, access readers, detectors, sirens, switches, power supplies — under the guidance of the project engineer;

• Reading and adhering to diagrams, plans, and technical execution sheets; promptly reporting deviations from the project;

• Daily completion of reports in the internal work planning application (tasks, hours, materials consumed, status);

• Responsible management of tools, measuring equipment, PPE, and service vehicles, according to internal regulations (handover based on minutes, reporting malfunctions within 24 hours);

• Compliance with Health and Safety (SSM) and Fire Safety (PSI) regulations on site, mandatory wearing of protective equipment, safe work at height;

• Maintaining a clean construction site and a fair and professional relationship with the client and other contractors on the job.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in structured cabling or low voltage (data networks, CCTV, alarm, access control, fire detection);

• Solid execution knowledge: cabling standards, cable categories, patching, crimping, labeling;

• Ability to work from plans and diagrams and to understand technical execution documentation;

• Category B driver's license — optional, travel to job sites is done with company vehicles;

• Availability for daily travel within the county and occasional multi-day trips to neighboring counties (with per diem and accommodation provided);

• Physically fit for field work and working at height (ladder, scaffolding, platform);

• Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and care for entrusted equipment;

• Secondary education; technical qualification (electrician, electronics technician, telecommunications technician, or similar).

Advantageous Qualifications

• Security system technician certificate (according to Law 333/2003) or willingness to obtain it — the company supports obtaining it;

• Experience with fiber optics (splicing, OTDR measurements) or with addressable fire detection systems;

• Basic networking knowledge (switch configuration, IP addressing, NVR / DVR commissioning);

• Experience working with Hikvision, Dahua, Paradox, DSC, Satel, UniFi, Inim, Bosch equipment, or similar;

• SSM certifications or courses for working at height.

Schedule and Location

Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (8 hours + lunch break), with occasional flexibility depending on the projects. Starting point: headquarters at Oradea, Bârcăului street no. 48. The activity takes place predominantly on client construction sites.
