Purchasing Technician

From Mabxience, a company specialized in the development and manufacturing of biosimilar medicines, we are incorporating a purchasing technician into our plant in León. General responsibilities The purchasing technician will be responsible for providing support to the entire team to achieve all established objectives. This role implies a clear focus on goals, providing basic level support to global strategy that helps meet the required objectives to assist the company's growth and development. Main tasks and responsibilities: • Facilitate communication between departments and teams to ensure effective collaboration and coordination. • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. • Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes to optimize supply chain management. • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions that meet the company's needs. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain. • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. • Provide support to the logistics department to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in procurement processes. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, and operations. • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. • Ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in procurement processes. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, and operations. • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
