About the opportunity

We are looking for a Chemistry Technician to work in the operations of preparing catalyzed monomers, laboratory control, and support for the Industrial Effluent Treatment Station (ETDI/ETE) and Deionized Water operations.

We are seeking a committed professional with a focus on quality, safety, organization, and continuous improvement, who is interested in working in an industrial environment and contributing to the excellence of our processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare catalyzed monomers according to procedures and technical specifications.
• Operate reactors, autoclaves, vacuum pumps, and other laboratory equipment.
• Monitor the temperature of the Monomer Mix Laboratory equipment.
• Perform chemical, gravimetric, and volumetric analyses for quality control.
• Prepare solutions, reagents, and analytical media.
• Conduct tests on raw materials and products.
• Record results of analyses, tests, and laboratory assays.
• Control inventory and perform stocktaking of laboratory reagents.
• Store catalyzed monomers and catalysts in a classified environment.
• Support Water Treatment Station operations when necessary.
• Monitor and operate the Industrial Effluent Treatment Station (ETDI/ETE).
• Control flow rate, conductivity, reservoir levels, and other operational parameters.
• Operate the sludge dewatering press.
• Calibrate equipment such as pH meters, oxymeters, and other laboratory instruments.
• Contribute to compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Mandatory

• High School diploma (Ensino Médio completo).
• Completed Technical Course in Chemistry.
• Active registration with the Regional Chemistry Council (CRQ).
• Basic English.
• Up to 1 year of experience in a laboratory, chemical industry, or related activities.
• Knowledge of chemical analyses and quality control.

Will be a differential

• Experience with Effluent Treatment Station (ETE/ETDI).
• Experience in an industrial laboratory.
• Knowledge in preparing reagents and solutions.
• Experience with reactors, autoclaves, and laboratory equipment.
