Works Planning Technician, Substation and Transmission Lines (Ponte Alta do Tocantins or Novo Acordo/TO)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act in the planning, monitoring, and control of energy substation and transmission line works, developing schedules, measurements, progress curves, management reports, and productivity controls. Support construction management through the analysis of deadlines, resources, deviations, and interfaces between engineering, procurement, field, and inspection, contributing to compliance with contractual deadlines, quality, and planned costs.
• Schedule Development and Updates: Develop, update, and control physical and financial-physical schedules for substation and transmission line works, considering civil, electromechanical, assembly, commissioning, and energization fronts.
• Physical Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of field activities, consolidating physical progress information, productivity, S-curves, labor histograms, and performance of execution teams.
• Measurements and Contractual Controls: Support the preparation of measurements for executed services, quantity control, contract monitoring, and verification of the adherence between planned, executed, and invoiced scope.
• Deviation Analysis and Rescheduling: Identify deadline deviations, operational restrictions, and field interferences, proposing corrective actions, reschedulings, and recovery plans in conjunction with construction leadership.
• Interface with Support Areas: Act as an interface with engineering, procurement, logistics, quality, HSE, inspection, and field teams for alignment of milestones, releases, deliveries, and execution priorities.
• Management Reports: Prepare periodic planning and control reports, dashboards, progress meeting minutes, action plans, and management presentations focused on deadlines, productivity, and risks.
• Executive Planning Support: Support the detailing of the executive planning of the work, considering construction sequencing, access restrictions, resource mobilization, shutdown windows, and energization milestones.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Education: Completed Technical Course in Civil Construction, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Road Engineering, or related areas.
• Experience: Previous experience in planning, monitoring, or control of infrastructure works, preferably in energy substations, transmission lines, industrial works, or large-scale projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge in work planning and control, reading and interpreting schedules, physical progress, measurements, productivity, construction sequencing, and deviation analysis.
• Tools: Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of planning and control tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent systems.
• Computer Skills and Reports: Ability to consolidate data, prepare presentations, issue management reports, and maintain updated controls with reliability and organization.

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in energy substation works, transmission lines, yard expansions, electromechanical assembly, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of S-curves, histograms, measurements, executive planning, productivity, and work rescheduling.
• Familiarity with technical documents, contractual milestones, integrated schedules, and control routines applied to projects in the electricity sector.
