Workplace Safety Technician - FOCUS ON ENERGY SUBSTATION - Bauru and Region

SUPERVISE activities related to workplace safety, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize the risks of work accidents, observing the compliance with all relevant legislation.

ATTRIBUTES:

· Identify process risks and develop a risk map, involving as many workers as possible;

· Develop and coordinate a work plan that enables preventive action in solving safety and health problems at work;

· Participate in the implementation and control of quality measures necessary for prevention, as well as evaluating priorities of action at workplaces;

· Conduct periodic checks on environments and working conditions to identify situations that may pose risks to worker safety and health;

· Conduct a review of each meeting's progress towards goals set in your work plan and discuss identified risk situations;

· Inform workers about workplace safety and health matters;

· Participate in employer discussions to evaluate the impacts of changes on the environment and work process related to worker safety and health;

· Request copies of CATs issued by the company;

· Require the employer to stop a machine or sector where you consider there is a grave and imminent risk to worker safety and health;

· Collaborate in developing and implementing PCMSO, PGR, and other programs related to workplace safety and health;

· Promote compliance with Regulatory Standards, as well as clauses of collective agreements and conventions, regarding workplace safety and health;

· Participate, together with the employer, in analyzing causes of diseases and work accidents and proposing solutions for identified problems;

· Request information from the employer about issues that have interfered with worker safety and health;

· Promote annually the Internal Prevention Week of Work Accidents – SIPAT;

· Participate, annually, together with the company, in AIDS Prevention Campaigns.
