JUNIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – EVEN FIRST EXPERIENCE

Job description

We are looking for a person to be integrated and trained in our technical team for the assistance and maintenance of industrial equipment at our client companies.

It is not necessary to have prior experience as a maintenance technician: we also consider recent graduates or individuals from other technical professions, with good manual dexterity, interest in mechanics, and a willingness to learn.

The person will initially be mentored by an experienced technician and progressively trained on the equipment and maintenance activities, with the goal of acquiring increasing autonomy over time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • You will shadow our technicians during interventions at clients' sites.
  • You will learn to identify faults and anomalies.
  • You will perform routine maintenance activities and assistance interventions.
  • You will learn to work on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
  • With experience, you will gradually gain more autonomy in managing interventions.
  • The work involves interventions both locally and on business trips. Indicatively, two weeks per month will be spent on business trips, alternating weeks, departing on Monday and returning on Friday.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are primarily looking for a reliable, practical person with good manual dexterity and an interest in mechanics and technology.

The role requires:

  • a diploma or professional qualification, preferably in the mechanical, electrical, electronic, or mechatronic fields;
  • a B driving license;
  • good manual dexterity and familiarity with common tools;

Experience as a maintenance technician is not essential.

We are also interested in considering candidates with previous experience as a mechanic, electrician, assembler, installer, service technician, or other technical jobs.

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

The following are a plus:

  • qualification for operating elevating work platforms (PLE);
  • training for working at height;
  • qualification for using a forklift;
  • PES/PAV training for electrical work;
  • knowledge of pneumatics.

The absence of these skills or qualifications does not preclude your application.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • full-time contract from Monday to Friday;
  • initial training and on-the-job mentoring program;
  • opportunity for professional growth and progressive acquisition of greater autonomy;
  • position and salary commensurate with experience and skills;
  • occasional Saturday work only if necessary.

Work location: Rivalta di Torino (TO)

If you enjoy understanding how things work, have good manual dexterity, and want to learn a technical trade, apply even if you don't have prior experience as a maintenance technician.
