Job description
Radio-oncology (or radiotherapy) is part of the cancer treatment modalities, along with medical oncology and surgery. Treatment by external radiotherapy consists of specifically eliminating tumor cells under the effect of ionizing radiation (X-ray beams or electron beams), while preserving the surrounding healthy tissues as much as possible.
