Plant Technician

Our client is a solid and continuously growing industrial company, specialized in the production of raw materials and products for various industrial sectors. Position

Position

The resource will be integrated into the production department and will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of chemical processing plants, ensuring the correct execution of the process in compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and foreseen operating conditions.

Main Responsibilities

• Plant start-up and shutdown and management of operations on screen and in the field (60% - 40%).
• Setting and control of main process parameters.
• Management of changeovers according to operational instructions.
• Sampling and execution of related laboratory analyses.
• Application of foreseen procedures and operating conditions.
• Consultation of production data sheets and completion of process documentation.
• Compliance with safety procedures and use of foreseen PPE.
• Reporting of any anomalies and collaboration with involved company functions.
• Maintenance of order and cleanliness in the work area.

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma preferably in Industrial Technical Institute for Chemistry, Chemical Professional Institute or Higher Technical Institute for Chemistry.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry, laboratory analysis, and chemical plants.
• Knowledge of operating and safety procedures for plants.
• Good proficiency with PC, Excel, MS Office, Outlook, and DCS systems.
• Preferable use of forklift and manual equipment.
• Good interpersonal skills and attitude for teamwork.
• Serious, reliable, proactive, curious, and independent individual with a desire to grow.
• Availability for work with continuous shift hours and in an outdoor environment.
