Construction Site Technician - Florence

We offer:

Contract: CCNL Metalmeccanica (Metalworking National Collective Agreement), Annual Salary €33,000 - €38,500 (commensurate with actual experience). Work location: Florence at a hospital site (with operations on reference construction sites).

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Technical and Operational Coordination: Management and coordination of construction site activities in civil, hospital, and interior finishing construction, ensuring integration and synergy between the building and plant engineering disciplines.
• Interface and External Relations: Management of daily communication and relationships with the Site Management (DL), the Client, and various subcontractors.
• Accounting and Estimates: Preparation of cost estimates, development of variations during construction, and formulation of new prices for extra-scope works.
• Planning and Control: Temporal planning and scheduling of works (work schedule), constant verification of executive designs, and monitoring of the physical and economic progress of the contract.

Qualifications:

• Technical Background: Degree in Civil/Building Engineering, Architecture, or Diploma as Surveyor / Industrial Expert.
• Experience: Previous experience in the role of Construction Site Technician (or as a site assistant), preferably gained on complex civil construction projects or in the healthcare/hospital sector.
• Computer Skills: Good command of the Office package. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Primus software for work accounting is a preferential/optional requirement.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, aptitude for problem-solving on construction sites, leadership, and excellent negotiation and relationship skills with clients and suppliers.
