We are looking for a Telecommunications Technician – Field to provide on-site support for Telespazio's operations, in a telecommunications and satellite communication environment. The professional will be responsible for performing technical assistance at the stations, carrying out installation, maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and incident resolution activities, ensuring that calls are answered within the established service levels and supporting the area's operational activities.

Reside in Florianópolis/SC, preferably near the Tapera region, with easy access to the work location.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to technical calls in the field according to defined priority and SLA.
• Perform inspections, tests, diagnoses, and maintenance on station equipment and infrastructure.
• Install, replace, and remove equipment, modules, cables, connectors, and accessories.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Perform electrical, connectivity, and RF measurements using appropriate instruments.
• Operate in satellite communication systems, control, management, and remote supervision.
• Perform checks on power supply, grounding, and electrical protection systems.
• Support activities related to RF and IF infrastructure, cabling, and equipment interfaces.
• Inspect mechanical elements of the antenna, pedestal, platform, HUB, and POP room infrastructure.
• Record executed activities through technical reports and photographic evidence, when necessary.
• Provide remote or on-site support to the Operations team when there is no field service.
• Comply with the company's safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain constant communication with the Operations team during service calls.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma.
• Completed Technical Course in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.

Experience

• Proven experience in Telecommunications, preferably in satellite communication.
• Experience in technical field service.
• Experience in installation and/or maintenance of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, networks, and electronic equipment.

Technical Knowledge

• Satellite communication systems.
• Radio Frequency (RF) systems.
• Intermediate Frequency (IF) systems.
• Logic and power interconnection cabling, including control, network, RF, and IF.
• Connectors, adapters, waveguides, peripheral devices, and local equipment interfaces.
• Power systems: supply, grounding, and protection.
• Remote control, management, communication, and supervision systems.
• Mechanical elements of antennas, pedestal, and platform.
• Antenna HUB.
• POP room infrastructure.

Availability

• Availability for travel in the service region.
• Availability for emergency services when necessary.
• Availability for work according to operational demand.
• Possess a valid B driver's license.

Differentiators

• Previous experience with satellite communication.
• Experience in telecommunications stations.
• NR-10 and NR-35 certifications.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
