Process Technician CER

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The selected candidate will ensure that the team functions and operates at maximum efficiency and quality. This role is a technical position, with responsibilities including setting up equipment, monitoring/adjusting machine parameters, assisting in changes and managing process and equipment problems. We are looking for candidates who aspire to develop skills in problem-solving, diagnosis, and corrective actions. This function will learn and absorb continuously from experienced or established process technicians and apply what they learn.

DUTIES THAT THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE:

• Start up, shut down, and restart machines according to the production program.

• Adjust flexographic machine processes to avoid defects in the process (i.e., rotated position, lack of union, and damaged antenna cutting)

• Document and monitor critical process parameters

• Identify, diagnose, and solve problems related to processes to maintain desired efficiency levels.

• Escalate the right information to senior process engineer and team leader according to their shift as needed

• Assist in machine changes (mold and material)

• Adhere to quality (ISO9001 or TS16949) standards and safety norms.

• Work constantly safely regarding yourself, your colleagues at work, and the manufacturing team.

• Perform general cleaning within the department/group and help other areas as needed.

• Make backup copies of other areas on the production floor (material handling, inspection, and packaging) as needed.

• Perform work according to standard working methods in terms of safety and quality.

• Fulfill and share with Avery Dennison's ethics policy and values.

• Apply and promote the 5's in your area of work.

• In case you are part of any team or committee within the company, you must fulfill corresponding activities.
