About the position:
As a Molding Technician at KI Industries Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the setup and operation of injection molding production lines under your charge, within validated parameters, meeting quality and productivity standards established, as well as company cleanliness standards. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development within KI.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of preventive maintenance with efficiency, on schedule.
• Support in the assembly and disassembly of molds when necessary.
• Implementation of version changes in molds that are about to produce, according to the production program.
• Performance of necessary corrections to ensure correct fabrication of parts
• Planning and organization of mold repair processes
• Preparation of setup procedures and making necessary adjustments to the process, following applicable procedures.
• Diagnostics of failures and taking actions on molding processes, auxiliary equipment, and documenting.
• Issuing work orders to Maintenance and Mold Repair areas to correct faults in equipment and molds
• Stopping production of parts when quality is affected by any anomaly in the process, and initiating immediate corrective action (peripheral review and/or parameter adjustment).

Tech Skills:

• Knowledge of injection molding machines
• Experience with rapid mold changes
• Crane operation
• Mastery of Injection Machine Operations like Engel, Battenfield, Arburg.
• Knowledge of Robots Engel, Battenfield, Yaskawa
• Knowledge of Peripheral Equipment (Dryers, Thermos, Mills)
• Knowledge of Resin Processing Engineering
• Knowledge of Cosmetic Mold and Plastic Parts Injection
• Knowledge of Mold Changes (Set up)
• Knowledge of Injection Machine Maintenance

Experience:
3 years in a similar position

Education:

• Level: Technical Career in Molding, Plastics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Machines and Tools or Preparatory Education
• 3 years of verifiable experience in injection molding processes and maintenance of injection molding machines.
