Cold Stamping Mechanical Technician for our Gestamp Puebla I Plant

Requirements for the position:

• Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering/Technician or related field.

Main responsibilities of the position:

Administrative Functions

1. Log into Captor at the start of the shift and out at the end of your activity.

2. Complete safety work permits if required (work at height, welding, etc.).

3. Create warehouse vouchers to withdraw spare parts.

4. Keep work areas and tool carts organized and clean.

5. Generate, fill out, and close work orders for your daily activities and for notifications from production. (Follow up on orders until closed in SAP).

6. Fill out preventive maintenance orders when activities are completed and send orders for closure to the SAP planner.

7. Fill out and close predictive maintenance orders (vibration or thermography) when activities are completed.

8. Send an email for material replenishment when required.

9. Create a report of activities during the shift.

Operational Functions

1. Anticipate failures by performing daily inspections on the lines to detect possible anomalies (CILT) in the cold stamping area (TANDEM, BLANKING, PROGRESSIVE, TRANSFERS, PAINTING).

2. Detect failures that occur during production time to correct them and allow production to continue.

3. Perform preventive activities during the allocated time to eliminate line downtime.

4. Perform predictive activities defined in temperature and vibration analysis reports.

5. Propose improvements for the purpose of reducing downtime and reducing expenses.

6. Participate in the maintenance plan using your inspection report format.
