Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of Anysort equipment at client premises.
• Execute preventive, corrective maintenance, and technical inspections, ensuring the full functioning of the equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation failures.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Deliver operational and technical training to client operators and maintenance teams.
• Prepare and record Service Orders, technical reports, and other documentation for services rendered.
• Correctly record hours worked, expenses, parts used, and service information in corporate systems.
• Take care of tools, equipment, vehicles, and other company assets provided.
• Act in accordance with occupational safety regulations, correctly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Support the Sales team in technical demonstrations, client visits, and equipment presentations when requested.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in equipment, processes, and services, sharing information with responsible areas.
• Represent Anysort ethically, professionally, and consultatively during all client service calls.
• Maintain availability for national travel, attending to the company's operational demands.

Mandatory Requirements

• Complete Technical Course in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related areas.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, or technical assistance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and reading technical diagrams.
• Availability for frequent travel throughout the national territory.
• Valid National Driver's License (CNH) category B.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication, organization, and focus on customer service.
• Ability to prepare technical reports.

Desirable Requirements

• Higher education in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related areas (completed or in progress).
• Experience with optical sorting machines, industrial equipment, or automation.
• Knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives, and industrial sensors.
• Knowledge of industrial networks and automation systems.
• Technical English for reading manuals and communication with headquarters.
• Experience with technical training for clients.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Service Order management applications.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Lean, Kaizen).
• Certifications in NR-10, NR-12, NR-35, or others related to the activity.
• Experience in manufacturing companies of industrial machinery and equipment.
