Objective/Purpose of the Role:
Develop assigned activities, projects, and responsibilities for the position, utilizing experience and knowledge in the management of automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment applied to the manufacturing of mixed-technology electronic products.

Main Responsibilities:
• Verify material flow according to its corresponding process level and ensure its quality.

• Comply with safety regulations.

• Develop and supervise verification, maintenance, calibration, documentation updates, records, processes, and training activities as necessary.

• Maintain communication of equipment needs and/or status to the Quality Engineer, support staff, and production personnel.

• Ensure availability of spare parts for the equipment under your responsibility.

• Maintain automated inspection equipment available and operational, as well as the generation, updating, and debugging of control, monitoring, and backup programs and software for it.

• Publish information and/or graphics on improvements or projects related to automated inspection equipment. • Implementation of ECNs on automated inspection equipment.

• Quality communication when necessary to contact technical service providers and request required spare parts.

• Generation of coverage reports. Development of detection tests as needed.

• Tracking of downtime reports for the equipment in your charge.

• Continuous monitoring of the "Acceptance Rate" indicator, as well as the definition and implementation of corrective actions.

• Improvement of defect detection in equipment, as reported by our customers.

• Compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy, following procedures and instructions applicable to your activities. Competencies/Skills:

• Electronic engineering or similar.

• 2 years of experience in the role.

• Experience in the electronic manufacturing sector with mixed technologies.
• Programming, equipment failure analysis, calibration, and application of preventive and corrective maintenance for automated inspection equipment.

• Interpretation of assembly drawings and bills of materials.

• Interpretation of product documentation in general.

• Interpretation of schematic diagrams.

• Basic knowledge of theoretical and practical electronics, and handling of basic electrical and electronic measuring equipment.

• Knowledge of the electronic product assembly process with mixed technologies, SMT and T-Hole, manual soldering, and mechanical assemblies.

• Interpretation of the IPC-A 610 standard.
• Knowledge of the current ISO 9001 standard.

• Knowledge of the current ISO 14001 standard.

• Knowledge of the RoHS directive.

• Knowledge of ESD.

• Basic English.
