Sampling Technician

Perform sampling and collection routine at Eurofins, using suitable equipment and making necessary measurements and records on site, respecting safety, health, and environmental standards established by the company and clients.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Prepare material for collection at client sites that receive this service;
• Fill out the guide/custody chain with necessary information during sample collection;
• Collect samples using suitable equipment;
• Measure and record temperature of samples that require specific storage conditions, when applicable;
• Perform necessary measurements on site (e.g. temperature, pH among other required parameters);
• Monitor environmental conditions relevant to the type of service, when necessary;
• Deliver collected samples to laboratories;
• Collect or deliver sampling materials (e.g. flasks) at client sites;
• Store reserve samples in the laboratory, when necessary;
• Act according to safety, health, and environmental standards established by the company and/or clients;
• Maintain a presentable appearance, respecting company norms. This care should extend to company cars and equipment;
• Perform (or request) maintenance on equipment and utensils used in sampling;
• Drive company vehicle to client locations for sample collection procedures;
• Fill out electronic worksheet with information on collected samples, when necessary;
• Execute other related activities as needed or at the discretion of your superior.
