Accounting Technician - Madrid

What functions will you perform?

- Assistance in the supplier area: Accounting of supplier invoices (with orders registered in the system).

- Accounting of general expense invoices by cost analytics.

- Daily accounting: banks, customers, inventory, personnel expenses, loans, customer financing, taxes, fixed assets.

- Assistance in preparing VAT reports/declarations (SII), IS, IRPF.

- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Control of collections and payments.
- Direct supervision of the correctness of the accounting entries made.
- Preparation of accounts and monthly closing.
- Preparation of monthly reporting for the evaluation of accounting statements for Management.
- Preparation of annual accounts, year-end closing, financial statements.
- Preparation of information that will serve as support for budget preparation.
- Preparation of cost accounting.
- Supervision of registration obligations, legalization, and deposit of accounts.

- Maintenance of the procedure for preparing and presenting accounting statements.

- Provide accounting and tax information on time according to established calendars.
- Evaluate and control distortions that may occur in the accounting process.
- In general, custody of documents, filing of invoices, contracts, and other economic and accounting documentation of the company.
- Report to the economic-financial management on the company's accounting.
- Proposal of improvement actions.
- Daily relationship with banking entities.
- Relationship with external auditors - annual audit.

What you should bring with you…

- Studies related to Vocational Training in Administration and Finance, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or similar.

- 3-5 years of experience in similar positions.
Knowledge: General Accounting Plan (PGC), similar functions, (IS Regime, IRPF, Corporate Tax, tax closings, full tax and accounting cycle).
Experience in resolving tax and accounting queries from clients, tax procedures.

- Intermediate English B2.

- Office suite (Excel).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medium-sized company or consultancy.

- Accounting ERPs.

Desirable:
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Advanced Excel.

- Spanish taxation.
