Colorist / Formulator Technician

Ali Spa Ali lavoro Spa, Corinaldo branch, is seeking a Colorist / Formulator Technician for a company in the paint sector. The figure will have the task of: · Preparing and mixing pigments, colorants, and additives in the laboratory to create color samples (tints) on commission; · Managing and maintaining raw materials in storage/laboratory; · Developing and optimizing new color formulas on commission; · Executing and controlling the reproducibility of mixtures in different conditions; · Recording with precision all formulas and tested variants; · Using laboratory equipment for setting up the tint and colorimetric analysis; · Conducting small-scale sampling to validate formulas; · Verifying that produced samples are conformable to standards and physical samples provided by the customer; · Managing and archiving technical sheets and reference samples. Requirements - Diploma of Industrial Technical Institute or equivalent degree in chemical/technological field; - Knowledge of main safety rules in a chemical laboratory environment; - Familiarity (theoretical) with managing reagents and chemicals; - Good manual skills and precision in using balances and mixing equipment; - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (particularly Excel) for recording data and formulas; - Ability to work independently and respect deadlines; - Good color perception and attention to visual detail.
