Offshore Electrical Technician (a)

Tasks include, but are not limited to: Comply with the descriptions in the “Permanent Orders of the Chief of Machines”; Perform tasks, instructed by the Service Officer at the Machine Room; Maintain all equipment, electrical installations and lighting functioning correctly; Be present at the Machine Room, or at another previously determined location, during the vessel's maneuvers or in emergency situations; Inspect in advance the communication systems, lighting, cranes, mooring systems, and other equipment; Ensure the correct operation of the vessel's electrical systems, including the main switchboard, distribution panels, and electrical panels; Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel's electrical systems; Participate in the vessel's maintenance and repair activities, as required; Ensure the vessel's electrical systems are in compliance with the relevant regulations and standards; Perform other tasks as required by the Chief of Machines or the Service Officer;
