Citizen Participation Technician

Job Description: At Ceres (www.ceresweb.net) we are looking for a versatile, rigorous, responsible and learning-oriented person to support citizen participation projects and sociological research. What will you do? · Support the design of participatory processes and deliberative sessions · Prepare and conduct participant captures and convocations and manage session logistics · Manage participation platforms such as Decidim · Support in dynamic facilitation and moderation of online and offline spaces · Collaborate with researchers to analyze data and draw conclusions · Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community organizations and local authorities · Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project proposals · Provide administrative support for project management and reporting · Contribute to the development of Ceres' strategy and goals · Support in the organization of events and activities related to citizen participation and sociological research. What are we looking for? · Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (social sciences, communication, sociology, etc.) · 2-3 years of experience in participatory processes, community engagement or social research · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Fluency in Catalan and Spanish (written and spoken) · Knowledge of Decidim platform and other participation tools · Experience with facilitation and moderation techniques · Familiarity with sociological research methods and data analysis · Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
