Chargé(e) de projets - Environnement

Job Summary:

The incumbent will act as a project manager in Environment for TechnoRem inc., a subsidiary of the ABS Group. He/She will primarily ensure the planning and necessary follow-ups to complete environmental site assessments (ESAs) – Phases II and III, hydrogeological characterization, and environmental rehabilitation projects ex situ and in situ. He/She may occasionally be required to go on-site to perform construction work or participate in construction meetings.


Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer service;
  
• Plan and follow up on ongoing projects (schedule and budget);
  
• Inform the project director of technical and financial project evolution;
  
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and complete fieldwork in environment and hydrogeology (with technical personnel, client, and subcontractors);
  
• Ensure the realization or coordination of environmental characterizations (Phases II and III and rehabilitation);
  
• Realize or verify soil descriptions and other materials and environmental sampling according to procedures and standards in force in Quebec;
  
• Participate in preparing service offers.
  
• Write technical reports of work programs;
  
• Perform all other connected tasks.
  

Profile Sought:

• Hold a university degree in engineering, geology, physical geography or another related field;
  
• Hold between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in environmental studies and rehabilitation;
  
• Hold relevant experience in classical hydrogeology (an asset);
  
• Hold experience in managing and collaborating with multidisciplinary work teams;
  
• Have a good knowledge of the MELCC Intervention Guide, guides, and standards in force;
  
• Have completed environmental works on-site (drilling, sampling, wells, etc.);
  
• Have excellent mastery of the French language, both spoken and written, and mastery of English;
  
• Hold the SIMDUT harmonized 2019 certification on hazardous materials (an asset);
  
• Hold an ASP card in health and safety or be ready to follow and complete the training;
  
• Hold a valid driving permit;
  
• Prefers writing reports;
  
• Autonomy, rigor, and dynamism;
