Job Description: Responsible for leading all safety engineering and process safety activities during the FEED phase of offshore projects. Ensures that safety requirements are fully integrated into design, in compliance with international standards, Indonesian regulations, and client specifications. Provides leadership in hazard identification, risk management, and technical safety deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technology safety team, allocating tasks and reviewing deliverables.
Develop safety philosophies, fire and explosion strategies, and escape/evacuation concepts.
Oversee safety studies: HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, FERA, EERA, DROPS, etc.
Ensure compliance with international standards (API, ISO, DNV, IEC) and Indonesian regulatory requirements.
Interface with process, mechanical, structural, subsea, and marine teams to embed safety into design.
Support preparation of FEED-level safety documentation and design specifications.
Lead safety reviews with client, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Mentor and guide safety engineers to ensure knowledge transfer.
Capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement in safety engineering practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Bachelor's in Safety, Process, Chemical, or Offshore Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore safety/technical safety engineering.
Proven leadership in FEED/EPCI projects for offshore facilities (FPSO, FLNG, fixed platforms, subsea).
Strong knowledge of hazard identification and quantitative risk assessment methods.
Familiarity with Indonesian offshore safety regulations and international codes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client interface skills.
