Technology Risk Manager / Assistant Vice President

Overview Your future team is part of AIG’s Technology Risk and Controls (TRC) team, collaborating with colleagues worldwide to provide enterprise-wide IT solutions that support AIG’s specialized disciplines. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with IT regulations in APAC, managing the annual IT Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and coordinating country-level forums and issue tracking. Responsibilities Assess new and updated IT regulations for gaps, and develop action plans to address any non-compliance issues. Collaborate with stakeholders across AIG’s business units to identify and prioritize IT risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of AIG’s IT risk management framework, including the identification, assessment, and prioritization of IT risks. Coordinate country-level forums and issue tracking to ensure effective communication and resolution of IT risks. Ensure compliance with IT regulations in APAC, including but not limited to, data privacy laws, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices. Manage the annual IT Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, ensuring timely completion and submission of reports. Coordinate with TRC team members to identify and prioritize IT risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track progress against risk mitigation plans. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across AIG’s business units to ensure effective communication and collaboration on IT risk management initiatives. Provide guidance and support to TRC team members on IT risk management best practices, policies, and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT risk management initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
