As a Technology Lawyer, you will be part of a team that advises on the intersection of technology and law, helping clients navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape. This role is ideal for a lawyer who is passionate about technology and has a strong understanding of the legal and commercial implications of emerging technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, a law degree, and be an admitted lawyer in New Zealand. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, with a focus on technology and intellectual property law. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the legal and commercial implications of emerging technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have a strong understanding of the New Zealand legal system and be familiar with the relevant laws and regulations. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and the law.
