Must Have:

  • Design and enhance infrastructure and applications, including improvements to existing products and services.
  • Develop, implement, and test new services and solutions.
  • Enhance on-premises services, focusing on security, self-service features, and cloud integration.
  • Possess expert hands-on knowledge of technology across various operating systems, virtualization, orchestration, and their support.
  • Design, integrate, and enable solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with design, create, implement and integrate in an enterprise environment / large environment.

Description

  • Deliverables: The resources will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of infrastructure and cluster projects initiatives. Some of these will include designing and configuring advance security features, upgrades to platforms and supporting service delivery excellence. They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration and deployments and act as site reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuation of security, tenants and product service modernization
  • Review and optimization of logging, DNS and other critical infrastructure
  • Hybrid integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems
  • Assist operations teams and Clusters with priority incidents for mission critical applications
  • Plan and conduct ongoing service improvement for OPCS
  • Assist in process refinement, application performance improvement
  • Continuation of Service Delivery optimization including self-service portal
  • Acting as SME for Cluster projects where FTE team members require assistance

Evaluation Breakdown:

1. Technology Experience - 20%

  • Design and enhance infrastructure and applications, including improvements to existing products and services.
  • Develop, implement, and test new services and solutions.
  • Enhance on-premises services, focusing on security, self-service features, and cloud integration.
  • Implement and support services such as ePAM, identity management, logging, and monitoring.
  • Lead projects and initiatives from start to finish, both technical and non-technical.
  • Transfer skills and knowledge to team members.
  • Possess expert understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
  • Experience with a variety of technologies and processing environments, including COTS, open-source, and cloud computing.

2. Technical Experience - 20%

  • Possess expert hands-on knowledge of technology across various operating systems, virtualization, orchestration, and their support.
  • Design, integrate, and enable solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of core enterprise services and their integration/alignment, including DNS, ePAM, logging, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps toolchains and processes, including automation, configuration management, and templating.

3. Service Delivery - 15%

  • Demonstrate the ability to code and script effectively.
  • Show proficiency in using and creating APIs.
  • Act as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to create automation that enhances service delivery and monitors legacy and on-premises systems.
  • Resolve incidents as an SRE.

4. Communications, Customer Service and Analysis and Problem-Solving - 15%

  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues for large enterprises.
  • Ability to provide project reports to senior management in business terms.
  • Proficient in handling and resolving escalations.
  • Capable of working as a technical project manager when required.
