Services SFT is proud to participate in the opening of a brand new medical clinic in the beautiful Cree community of Waskaganish, located in northern Quebec. We are currently looking for a passionate, autonomous Medical Technologist who is ready to make a real difference in a remote community.

This unique position represents an exceptional opportunity to actively contribute to the implementation of local health services in a dynamic, human, and culturally rich environment.

• Perform and analyze laboratory tests (biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, etc.)
• Ensure the quality assurance of analyses and the maintenance of equipment
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure fast and efficient care
• Participate in the implementation and organization of laboratory services in the new clinic
• Comply with biosafety standards and established protocols

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in biomedical analysis technology or equivalent
• Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des technologistes médicaux du Québec (OPTMQ)
• Minimum 1 year of experience (experience in a remote area: an asset)
• Excellent skills in autonomy, rigor, and versatility
• Sensitivity to the reality of Indigenous communities

• Hourly rate: $55/hour
• Per diem: $50 per day worked
• Travel allowance and accommodation provided
