Technical Sales Leader (all gender)

We are looking for a direct hire for an established, internationally active industrial company, specializing in the development and production of technically demanding special solutions for safety-critical applications.

Our customer has long-standing experience and develops and produces high-quality components and systems that are used worldwide in various industrial and regulated environments.

Tasks

- Professional and disciplinary leadership of the sales department
- Development and implementation of strategies for customer acquisition and retention
Responsibility for the expansion of sustainable customer relationships, particularly in the technical environment

- Guidance and implementation of technical consulting for customer-specific solutions
Analysis of market and technology trends, as well as derivation of measures
- Optimization of internal processes in collaboration with relevant interfaces
- Active co-shaping of change and development processes within the company

Particular features of the job:
- Leadership role with design scope and strategic responsibility
Combination of technical understanding and sales steering

- Activity in an international and safety-relevant environment
Close cooperation with development, production, and management

Qualification

Completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Optics, or comparable).

Several years of leadership experience and experience in steering teams and projects.

Fundamental technical knowledge, ideally in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Optics, or related industries.

Experience in technical sales.

Outstanding understanding of processes and technical interdependencies.

Very good communication and negotiation skills.

Structured, self-reliant, and team-oriented working style.

Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.

Safe handling of MS Office and ideally SAP.
