SONOTEC GmbH is a leading solution specialist in ultrasonic measurement technology. With around 200 employees, the manufacturer develops and produces custom ultrasonic transducers and sensors as well as testing equipment and measurement technology solutions at its Halle (Saale) site.

As a Technical Writer (m/f/d), you will work at the exciting interface between development, sales, product and project management, and quality management.

In this versatile role, you will combine technical understanding with linguistic precision and ensure that complex processes, products, and functions are communicated understandably, clearly, and in a target-group-oriented manner.

Your Tasks

• Creation, maintenance, and publication of product documentation with MS Word and a modular editorial system, including print and online delivery

• Collaboration with product and project management to coordinate content and processes (e.g., with Jira) and ensure approvals in quality management

• Document management, regular maintenance of metadata and checklists

• Training and internal knowledge transfer on guidelines and responsibilities within technical writing

• Continuous optimization and automation of editorial processes

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Technical Writing or a comparable qualification

• Experience in the target-group-oriented, standardized creation of information products

• Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines in the field of technical documentation

• High affinity for technology and interest in new technologies

• Enjoyment of preparing and efficiently imparting product and application knowledge

• Linguistic confidence, good communication skills, and pleasure in knowledge transfer

Your First Months

In the first few months, you will get to know our ultrasonic measurement technology and internal processes. You will take on your first documentation projects and coordinate closely with the specialist departments.
