You transform technical constructions into understandable handbooks and ensure that service technicians worldwide know exactly what to do. Between CAD drawings and editorial systems, you juggle with precision, coordinate translations, and keep all threads in your hands. While working with engineers on an equal footing, you actively shape documentation processes. The special thing: Your work directly contributes to safety in rail traffic in a field that values both technical depth and structured thinking. Your tasks: Creation of service documentation for critical rail vehicles, from repair instructions to spare parts catalogs Preparation of technical content in text and graphics in close coordination with the departments Maintenance and further development of the editorial system (structuring, modularization, e.g. SCHEMA ST4) Coordination and quality control of translation assignments for international availability Steering of release processes, deadline monitoring, and archiving of documentation Creation of technical illustrations and image material for documentation Version management, document storage, and updating existing documents Your qualification: Completed technical education or study in the field of mechanical engineering, technical editing, or comparable qualification Fundamental knowledge of machine building and safe reading of technical drawings Experience in creating technical documentation, ideally in the machine or plant construction industry Safe handling with editorial systems (e.g. SCHEMA ST4) desirable Knowledge of graphics software (Illustrator, GIMP) an advantage SAP knowledge desirable Good English skills in writing and speaking We offer you: An unlimited employment contract A competitive remuneration Flexible working hours and home office possibilities Opportunity for professional development and training Great work atmosphere and a highly motivated team Show us what drives and motivates you - apply and be part of our inspiring corporate culture!
