Technical Editor Spare Parts Documentation (m/f/d) – Full-time | Munich

On behalf of our partner company in Munich, we are looking for you as a "Technical Editor Spare Parts Documentation (m/f/d)" at the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities

• You create and update spare parts documentation and the associated data sets
• You evaluate technical documents, drawings, and parts lists and prepare them for documentation
• Furthermore, you create technical illustrations and check documents for completeness and quality
• You process change requests and ensure the up-to-dateness of technical documents
• In addition, you coordinate documentation projects and work closely with customers, service providers, and internal departments

Qualifications

• You have a degree in technical writing, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or have completed an apprenticeship as a car mechatronics technician (m/f/d), car technician (m/f/d), or master automotive technician (m/f/d) with appropriate additional qualifications
• Ideally, you have professional experience as a Technical Editor (m/f/d), Employee Technical Documentation (m/f/d), Technical Product Designer (m/f/d), or Documentation Manager (m/f/d)
• Very good technical understanding and experience in technical documentation are required
• In addition, knowledge of editorial and illustration tools, and ideally experience with 3D data, are advantageous
• A structured way of working, quality awareness, as well as very good written and spoken German and good English skills are important
