Technical Project Manager (gn) Robotics & Automation

The 3D-aero GmbH is a tech company from Hamburg with about 70 employees and has been a proud part of the MTU Aero Engines AG since December 2024 – one of the world's leading companies in the aerospace industry. We develop customer-specific automation solutions for aircraft production and other industrial sectors. In doing so, we use optical sensor technology and modern industrial robots together with KI-based data processing to develop tailored systems for our customers.

Tasks

• Project Management: From Kick-Off to commissioning, you will take over technical project leadership, make technical decisions, and ensure quality, deadlines, and costs.
• Customer Communication & Coordination: You are the central point of contact for our national and international customers as well as internally for all participating departments. You conduct Kick-Offs, alignments, and project meetings and keep all relevant stakeholders together – at home and on site with the customer.
• Practical Implementation: In close coordination with our departmental teams, you will take over the customer-specific planning, implementation, and execution of in-house tests.
• Eigeninitiative: You develop technical solutions actively with us, bring your own ideas in and shape the growing team.
• Service: Even after installation and acceptance, you will ensure a smooth operation with our service team.

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
• Multiple years of professional experience in technical project management: from design to commissioning of robot/ special machine systems.
• Ideal knowledge in the field of industrial automation, sensor technology and industrial image processing (optional).
• Solution-oriented, structured and self-responsible working style.
• Readiness for occasional business trips within Germany and abroad.
• Very good German language skills as well as good English language skills.
