Technical Product Manager Adhesives and Sealants (m/f/d)

Tasks
- You ensure that our products remain globally marketable – taking into account all regulatory and safety-related requirements in collaboration with the service provider Qualisys.
- You create and maintain a uniform product portfolio (worldwide/regionally) in close coordination with sales and procurement regarding pricing, packaging, accessories, and labeling.
- You conduct make-or-buy analyses regarding self-filling or external filling.
- You are responsible for safety chemistry and maintain and monitor certifications, approvals, and regulations, such as DVGW, chemical data, REACH conformity, ordinances, etc.
- You create and maintain product-relevant documentation and master data in the ERP system, including technical data sheets, safety data sheets, article numbers, product names, etc.
- You continuously analyze our portfolio based on procurement, sales, and economic key figures (scrappings) and implement resulting changes.
- You support application technology and sales in chemical product qualifications.
- You are responsible for the internal implementation of the Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance and support the warehouse in complying with all relevant guidelines for storing hazardous substances – including training warehouse staff on handling hazardous substances according to the Hazardous Substances Act.
- You work closely with external partners, suppliers, and customers on chemical and regulatory topics.
- You manage customer requirements and quality processes, such as PPAP, VDA, Q-processes, entries in customer portals.
- You are responsible for product launches and terminations and ensure smooth communication with the customer as well as internally.
- You are leading the rollout of product designs (packaging, labels, packaging) together with marketing and logistics.
- You work on research projects and coordinate alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification
- Completed master's degree in chemistry, ideally with a focus on polymer chemistry.
- Alternatively, first professional experience (1-2 years) in technical product management or a comparable environment.
- Safety data sheet knowledge for handling hazardous substances (desirable).
- Interest in technical products, preferably in the field of adhesives or polymer chemistry.
- Knowledge of safety chemistry, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Structured, analytical, and pragmatic working style.
- Communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Safe handling of common IT systems and MS Office applications.
- Very good German and English language skills.
