Technischer Presales Consultant (w/m/d/x) Software for Insurances

WHAT WE EXPECT

We are looking for an ambitious Technical Presales Consultant (w/m/d/x). In this role, you will understand people, customers, and technology. With your high level of expertise in insurance and IT, you will win new customers and develop solution approaches for insurers.

Your Tasks

As a technical Presales Consultant, you are an integral part of our sales team. You actively accompany the entire sales process from needs analysis to final demos and workshops – and translate complex requirements between business and technology.

1. Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyzing customer needs in the field and IT
• Developing customer-specific solution concepts based on the EMIL Insurance Suite
• Developing technical architecture proposals with APIs, modules, and systems

1. Demo- & Workshop-Responsibility

• Conceptualizing, preparing, and conducting demos (live environment & use-case-based)
• Conducting technical workshops (remote and on-site) for decision-makers in the field and IT

1. Bid- & Offer-Support

• Supporting RFI/RFP processes with technical performance descriptions
• Creating feasibility analyses, architecture sketches, implementation recommendations

• Reflecting market requirements into product development
• Closely coordinating with project teams, customer success, and partners

1. Sales Materials & Enablement

• Creating technical pitch decks, functional- and technical implementation concepts, architecture illustrations, performance attachments, etc.
• Supporting onboarding processes

WHAT YOU BRING

• Studies/Academic background in the field of (business-)informatics, insurance-related informatics
• Very high technical foundation and experiences in software development and IT integration, as well as familiarity with corresponding tools
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or IT consulting role
• Very good technical understanding for insurance application landscapes, APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructures
• Understanding of insurance-related processes (bestand, schaden, partner, tarifierung)
• Communicative and confident in dealing with IT and field experts on the customer side
• German at a native level, good English in writing and speaking
