Technischer Presales Consultant (w/m/d/x) Software for Insurances

WHAT WE EXPECT

We are looking for an ambitious Technical Presales Consultant (w/m/d/x). In this role, you will understand people, customers, and technology. Thanks to your high level of expertise in insurance and IT, you will win new customers and develop solution approaches for insurers.

Your Tasks

As a technical Presales Consultant, you are an integral part of our sales team. You actively accompany the entire sales process from needs analysis to offer preparation, final demos, and workshops – and translate complex requirements between business and technology.

1. Anforderungsanalyse & Lösungsdesign
   • Analysis of customer needs in the field and IT
   • Development of customer-specific solution concepts based on the EMIL Insurance Suite
   • Preparation of technical architecture proposals with APIs, modules, and systems
2. Demo- & Workshop-Verantwortung
   • Conceptualization, preparation, and implementation of demos (live environment & use-case-based)
   • Implementation of technical workshops (remote and on-site) for decision-makers in the field and IT
3. Ausschreibungen & Angebotsunterstützung
   • Support during RFI/RFP processes with technical performance descriptions
   • Preparation of feasibility analyses, architecture sketches, and implementation recommendations
4. Schnittstelle zwischen Sales, Produkt & Tech
   • Reflection of market requirements into product development
   • Tight coordination with project teams, customer success, and partners
5. Vertriebsunterlagen & Enablement
   • Preparation of technical pitch decks, functional, and technical implementation concepts, architecture folios, performance annexes, etc.
   • Support during onboarding processes

WHAT YOU BRING

• Studies/Academic degree in the field of (business-)informatics, insurance at a reinsurer
• Very high technical understanding and experience in software development and IT integration, as well as handling corresponding tools
• 3-5 years of experience in the field of technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or IT consulting
• Very good technical understanding for insurance application landscapes, APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructures
• Understanding of insurance processes (bestand, schaden, partner, tarifierung)
• Communicative and confident in dealing with IT and field experts on the customer side
• German at a native level, good English in writing and speaking
