innovIT AG is reimagining data centers: planned faster, built modularly, and implemented with technical precision. Behind our solutions stands a team with over 15 years of experience in the planning, construction, and operation of data centers – all trades are handled in-house.

Our data centers are built in modules made of steel. For this, we are looking for someone who can turn our floor plans into production-ready designs – and who wants to work with AI, not against it.

Responsibilities

• You will transform our data center floor plans into a coherent design.

• From this, you will construct the container modules for our production – workshop and manufacturing drawings in steel construction based on the existing statics.

• You will plan cable trays and ductwork and coordinate them with the steel construction.

• A technical draftswoman will assist you according to your specifications.

• You will identify collisions, gaps, and inconsistencies yourself and address them before they reach production.

• You will work with AI: Claude assists us with AutoCAD – you will set the direction, review the results, and develop the workflow.

Qualifications

• Training as a Technical Systems Planner (Steel and Metal Construction Technology), Technician for Steel or Metal Construction, or Civil Engineering degree with a focus on construction

• Several years of experience in workshop and manufacturing planning in steel, modular, or container construction

• Proficient in Inventor, and AutoCAD

• Independent, structured way of working in a home office

• Fluent German

A plus – and if not, you'll learn it with us: Experience with building services engineering (TGA) routes, data centers, AutoLISP, or scripting.
