Technical Manager Renewable Energies - Focus on Battery Storage (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Manager Renewable Energies with a focus on Battery Storage (m/f/d) at our location in Starnberg or Eschbach near Freiburg.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall technical responsibility for our BESS and PV/Hybrid projects (PV ground-mounted, Floating-PV, Moor-PV)

• Management of projects from conception through planning and engineering to commissioning

• Technical evaluation of sites

• Creation and optimization of technical designs (layout, dimensioning, system architecture)

• Coordination of external planners, surveyors, and EPC partners

• Grid connection concepts in coordination with grid operators

• Technical support in approval procedures

• Participation in economic evaluations, tenders, and contract negotiations

• Construction supervision including quality and schedule control as well as acceptance

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent

• At least two years of experience in the technical planning and implementation of battery storage systems, ideally also of PV projects

• Sound knowledge of relevant standards, laws, and approval procedures (e.g., EEG, grid connection guidelines)

• Experience in cooperating with grid operators, authorities, and surveyors

• Willingness for regular site visits

• Independent, structured way of working

• Teamwork and communication skills

• Very good German language skills, good English language skills are an advantage

• Driver's license class B
