Technical Manager Steel Construction (m/f/d)

You are a structural engineer (m/f/d) or civil engineer (m/f/d) and have experience in managing demanding steel construction projects. At MEDAG, a key position awaits you, where you will assume technical, organizational, and economic responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Independent technical, organizational, and economic management of demanding steel construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Tender and Order Management: Preparation of technical offers and calculations, as well as responsibility for the economic control and development of projects.
• Coordination and Leadership: Responsibility for interdepartmental collaboration as well as leadership of the teams involved in the project.
• Quality and Standards Assurance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines, and quality requirements, as well as conducting site inspections.
• Customer and Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining long-term customer and supplier relationships, as well as providing technical advice and support to customers throughout the entire project.

Qualifications

• Education: Successfully completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on steel construction or a comparable qualification.
• Work Experience: Several years of experience in a leadership position in steel construction.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in the professional or disciplinary leadership of employees or project teams.
• Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge in steel construction as well as relevant German standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Confident demeanor, strong organizational skills, and very good German language skills in speaking and writing.
