Tasks

Your Mission

As Head of Engineering (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the technical overall architecture of feld energy. You will ensure that our Agri-PV projects are technically excellent planned, implemented, and scaled – from the first idea to operational operation. You will work closely with founders, operations, EPC partners, and external stakeholders.

Your Tasks

• You will be responsible as Head of Engineering (m/w/d) for the technical overall strategy and further development of our Agri-PV solutions.
• From planning to operation, you will ensure the technical quality, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of our projects.
• As a technical sparring partner, you will work closely with founders, operations, EPC partners, and external stakeholders.
• You will develop, establish, and optimize technical standards, processes, and tools continuously.
• The leadership and further development of the technical team are within your responsibility – both professionally and personally.
• You will proactively assess new technologies, regulatory requirements, and market trends and derive concrete measures from them.
• In complex technical questions, you will make informed decisions and create clear guidelines for operational business.

Qualification

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energies, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or comparable
• Multiple years of experience in engineering leadership and/or senior role in the field of PV, Agri-PV, energy infrastructure or EPC
• Demonstrable deep technical expertise with solar tracker systems and substructures
• Fundamental understanding of PV systems, grid connections, permit processes, and technical standards
• Experience in building and scaling technical structures and teams
• Entrepreneurial thinking, high decision-making authority, and hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English language skills

This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work form – either from our office in Munich's city center or from home office.
