Technical Preparations Coordinator

Function For a technical production company active in sheet metal processing, we are looking for a Preparations Coordinator who functions as a link between customer, sales, production and procurement. The Preparations Coordinator analyzes daily customer requests – where customers sometimes contact us directly – and translates these into technically correct, feasible and cost-effective solutions. He/She prepares technical files and preparations and guides the entire process from quotation to production. An important aspect is the coordination with suppliers, logistics and quality control. The ideal candidate has a technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field, and has experience in preparing and coordinating projects. He/She must be able to work independently and have good communication skills. The Preparations Coordinator will work closely with the production team, procurement department and other stakeholders to ensure that customer requests are met efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of CAD software and experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello.
