You will be working for an organization that develops and produces diverse homes for both business clients and private individuals. From holiday homes and chalets to tiny houses and caregiver homes: no project is exactly the same.

As a technical draftsman, you work from the design towards a technically manufacturable end product. You will deal with various designs and customer wishes and translate them into clear and accurate drawings for work preparation and production. You will work closely with colleagues from sales, work preparation, and the production department.

The organization is in full development and actively looks for new opportunities to organize the drawing work smarter and more efficiently. In addition to improving and standardizing drawing processes, the application of AI within the field is also being considered. This provides room not only to utilize your technical knowledge but also to contribute to new working methods.

You work in a practical environment where you can actually see the result of your work. The drawings you create are used to actually build the homes. That makes your work concrete and gives you the opportunity to directly apply your technical and creative ideas.

This is what you will do

You will elaborate designs of holiday homes and other prefab living solutions into clear production and detail drawings. You will regularly switch between design, technology, and production. You will contribute ideas for technical solutions, monitor the quality of the drawing work, and constantly look for ways to make processes smarter.

In short:

• You elaborate designs and ideas in Autodesk REVIT.
• You perform engineering and re-engineering of new and existing holiday homes.
• You create technical production and detail drawings for work preparation and production.
• You align technical information with sales, work preparation, and production.
• You contribute ideas for technically smart solutions and optimizations.
• You monitor the quality and technical accuracy of the drawing work.
• You contribute to the standardization and improvement of drawing processes.
• You investigate and apply new possibilities in the field of AI within drawing work.

This is who you are

• You have MBO+/HBO work and intellectual level, preferably in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical direction.
• You have experience with a drawing program such as REVIT, AutoCAD, or a comparable system.
• You have an interest in prefab construction, housing, or designing custom living solutions.
• You can translate technical information into clear and manufacturable drawings.
• You work accurately and have an eye for quality and detail.
• You enjoy collaborating with different disciplines within an organization.
• You actively contribute ideas for technical improvements and more efficient working methods.
• You are interested in the possibilities of AI within engineering and technical drawing.
• You are also welcome if you are at the beginning of your career and want to grow further in the profession from a junior role.
