Technical Specialist Elevator Technology

Do you solve malfunctions where others get stuck and do you enjoy helping colleagues develop technically? As a Technical Specialist Elevator Technology at VeboLift, you will support service technicians, analyze malfunctions in elevator installations, and contribute to knowledge development within the service organization.

You will have a role with a lot of technical content: from fault diagnosis and inspections to guiding colleagues and further developing solutions such as Remote Monitoring.

Your Role

As a Technical Specialist, you are an important point of contact within the VeboLift service organization. You will help service technicians with technical questions, investigate malfunctions, and ensure that elevator installations are safely and reliably operational again.

In addition, you actively share knowledge. You will guide colleagues, provide training, and liaise with suppliers and technical specialists to effectively translate developments in elevator technology into practice.

• Analyzing and resolving complex technical malfunctions in elevator installations.
• Supporting service technicians with technical questions.
• Performing repairs, technical inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Contributing to the implementation and optimization of Remote Monitoring solutions.
• Guiding, coaching, and training colleagues.
• Maintaining contact with suppliers and technical specialists.
• Recording work performed and preparing technical reports.
• Conducting quality and safety checks.
• Contributing to the further development of the service organization.

Who We Are Looking For

You have a strong technical foundation and get energized by troubleshooting, sharing knowledge, and improving service. You don't need to have done everything, but you bring enough experience to help technicians develop further in terms of content.

• A completed MBO or HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Experience within the elevator industry or a comparable technical service environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding safety and maintenance.
• Driver's license B.
• A VCA certificate, or the willingness to obtain one.

In addition, you can clearly explain technical information to colleagues and customers. Experience with Remote Monitoring or other digital technologies is a plus.
