Job description
As a Technical Writer, you are responsible for creating and managing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our machines. You translate complex technical information from engineers and mechanics into clear manuals, maintenance instructions, and operating procedures.
In addition, you play a key role in establishing a new documentation structure and ensuring the quality and uniformity of all technical documentation within our organization.
Your responsibilities
- Drafting technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and operating procedures.
- Translating technical input into understandable and structured documentation.
- Managing revisions and updates for product changes.
- Creating visual support, such as diagrams, illustrations, and photos.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Intensive collaboration with R&D, production, and service departments to keep documentation accurate.
- Establishing and implementing a new documentation structure (from Word to XML/DITA) for greater quality and efficiency.
- Monitoring the quality, consistency, and uniformity of all technical documentation.
Profile
A technical education or equivalent experience.
Excellent Dutch writing skills; knowledge of English.
Experience in drafting technical documentation (manuals, diagrams, instructions) is a plus.
Experience with XML/DITA or willingness to learn.
Strong communication skills.
You work independently, accurately, and in a structured manner, with an eye for detail and quality.
