Mission

A technical regional Carrefour is responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of Carrefour Belgium's supermarkets and ensures business continuity on a proactive basis. He/she is, together with store managers, responsible for managing maintenance and ensuring the quality of technical equipment.

Responsibilities

As a technical regional at Carrefour:

• Set your budgets for replacing or renewing investment goods and you are responsible for management, organization, planning, follow-up, execution, receipt, and control of these.
• Report on the work carried out in connection with these budgets and bring added value to maintain the value of Carrefour Belgium's supermarket technical infrastructure.
• You are responsible for ordering, following up, controlling, and leading technical works and required repairs to ensure compliance with these budgets.
• Coordinate maintenance projects (e.g. renovating a roof covering).
• Find solutions within very short terms for technical problems to ensure the continuity of commercial activities.
• Treat preventively via the maintenance of technical infrastructure to ensure the continuity of business operations.
• You are responsible for strict follow-up and control of good execution of maintenance contracts to ensure continuity and proper functioning of technical infrastructure.
• Follow all legal obligations on a technical level.
• You are able to pilot and manage the projects assigned to you.
• Formulate proposals to achieve more efficient management and general cost savings.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor/A1 degree in a technical field (electro-mechanical or civil engineering) by preference.
• You have great affinity for various technical matters and are technically well-versed.
• You have experience organizing and following up on works/contracts.
• You can work autonomously and result-oriented, and are not afraid to take independent decisions.
• You have a very good analytical capacity.
• You communicate with great conviction.
• You can adapt quickly and easily to changing situations.
• You are customer-focused.
• You are bilingual NL./ FR..
• You are available 24/7, including weekends.
