Technical Assistant at IGS Westlede

IGS Westlede is owner and manager of three East Flemish crematoria in Lochristi, Aalst, and Sint-Niklaas. 51 cities and municipalities are part of our intermunicipal cooperation (IGS). Per year, we arrange approximately 12,850 cremations, 2,050 funeral meals, and 3,600 farewell ceremonies for all beliefs. We help annually the bereaved and 400,000 visitors to take a dignified leave of a loved one. For our location in Lochristi, we are looking for a technical assistant (C1-C3), contractually full-time. You will be responsible for daily operation of the cremation installation; You will also be responsible for maintenance of these installations; You will handle the entire process of ash handling from A to Z; You will ensure order and cleanliness on the work floor; You will be involved in maintaining, renovating, and preserving our heritage and domains; You are technically strong, knowledge of electricity is a plus point; Min. 3 years experience in a technical environment; You possess a secondary education diploma or equivalent education If you do not have a secondary education diploma, you can also participate, provided you pass the capacity test.
