Technical Commercial Employee

As an Inside Sales Employee in Rotterdam, you are the point of contact for customers in the maritime sector and play a key role in the sales process. You work at a growing technical company that supplies high-quality components and systems for new ship construction and repair. Combining technical product knowledge with commercial insight is central.

• Advising customers on technical products and systems;
• Preparing and following up on quotations;
• You are not afraid to pick up the phone and make calls;
• Managing customer relationships and maintaining contact with suppliers;
• Identifying and utilizing commercial opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling;
• Guiding sales processes from request to delivery;
• Collaborating with internal teams to optimally support customers.

• A completed MBO or HBO commercial/technical education;
• You have experience in a commercial role within a technical organization;
• You have technical product knowledge;
• Experience within the maritime sector is a strong plus;
• You have good communication skills, both oral and written;
• You master the Dutch and English languages well;
• Experience with relationship management, quotation preparation, and order processing.
