Test System Technician (m/w/x)

To strengthen our expert team at K-tronik, a customer from the fields of electromobility and battery technology, we're looking for a Test System Technician (m/w/x) in permanent employment. Tasks:

• Setup, integration, maintenance, and further development of HIL- and EOL-test systems for the validation of battery management and embedded systems in the automotive sector - Development, automation, and execution of test procedures, test plans, and test scripts to ensure functionality, quality, and reliability - Analysis, calibration, and troubleshooting of test systems as well as evaluation of test results - Close cooperation with system, test, and development engineers to implement test requirements and specifications - Technical support and training for users in operation and maintenance of test systems - Continuous optimization of test infrastructure, processes, and automation solutions to increase efficiency and test coverage.

Qualifications:

• Completed education (Associate Degree) or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automotive technology, or a related field - At least two years of professional experience in setting up, integrating, and maintaining HIL- and EOL-test systems for automotive electronics - Practical experience in testing embedded systems and electronic components - Knowledge of communication buses (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, SPI), protocols, and standards (e.g. J1939, UDS) as well as diagnostic tools - Safe handling of test and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters - Fundamentally understanding circuit design, circuit diagrams, and PCB layouts (printed circuit board development) - Knowledge in test automation and corresponding software tools (e.g. Vector-Tools, Python) is an advantage - Excellent analytical skills and a structured problem-solving competence - Skillful handling of small electronic components and complex test assemblies - High self-motivation as well as the willingness to take responsibility for projects and drive them forward practically-oriented - Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions in the field of electromobility - Team-oriented working style and very good communication skills in English.
